After years of career ups and downs, the Criminal Minds star is finally on the path to success
Shemar Moore has come a long way since landing a role on The Young and the Restless back in 1995. In fact, as FBI agent Derek Morgan on the hit series Criminal Minds, Moore has quickly become one of the hottest prime-time stars on television. Throw in his insane love of fitness and it's no big surprise he landed on the cover of MF's March 2009 issue.
"What I love about Criminal Minds is that Morgan is an ex-marine, ex-SWAT," says the 38-year-old actor. "To do those things you have to be a pretty badass dude. It's a great incentive to stay in shape."
In the March 2009 Issue of Men's Fitness, Moore reveals his intense biking regimen that includes a 70-mile ride every Sunday.
"I'm not a machine. I get really motivated, then I fall off the wagon and want to eat Chinese food and sit on my couch and gain five or 10 pounds!"
