Fans displeased with ME3’s ending protested, petitioned, and even filed complaints with the FTC. And, given the number of choices players have throughout the course of the series, the lack of diversity in the endings that could have reflected those choices is surprising. Even so, you need to look no further than the arguably misplaced outrage to see how much passion this series has spurred. When Commander Shepard’s final chapter is at last written it’s impossible to get past how well-done ME3 really is. Console gaming simply doesn’t get much better than this. And seriously: Do you read a classic just to find out what happens at the end? Just enjoy the journey. And speaking of journeys…
