Game-Winning Three Pointers
Ever fantasize about draining a trey that seals the win, just like Bryce Drew did for Valparaiso in the '98 NCAA tourney?
Ten years after making "The Shot," Drew—now an assistant coach for the Crusaders—doles out advice for delivering in the clutch:
1. "Pray," he says with a chuckle.
2. "Repetition. You've got to practice. You've got to dream of making that shot and spend hours and hours in the gym putting yourself mentally in a position to make it."
3. "You can't be afraid. You have to want to be in that situation. You can't get caught up in thinking, 'What if I miss?' or 'I don't want to lose the game for my team.'"
