10 Death-Defying Stunts You Can Do on Vacation

Zorbing; Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Imagine climbing into an encased, giant plastic ball (think hamster-style) and rolling down a massive hill. Yep, that’s Zorbing—and you can go solo or with a couple friends. You can also choose to wear a harness or jumble around freely, and you can even add water inside your plastic ball. Zorbing courses are built with different grades of steepness, so you can pick the one that most fits your need for speed. (Gah! So many choices.)

YOU NEED A spare change of clothes.

HOW TO DO IT Zorbing started in New Zealand (the flagship location for the sport), but we’re a little slower on the uptake this side of the world. There are a few courses, though, including Pigeon Forge, in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. ($35/person; zorb.com)
