If you’re looking for some truly Instagram-worthy scenery, hike through the trails of Albion Basin in Alta—they cut through stunning fields of colorful wildflowers. Alta is situated in a rugged mountain setting that overlooks alpine lakes and classic views of the Wasatch Range. There are more than 10 miles of trails in the area—eight different trails, ranging from a half mile to 2.5 miles in distance and 2,000 feet in elevation. The Collins Gulch to Germania Pass trail in particular offers hikers some incredible views of Cecret Lake and Albion Basin.
