There's nothing like a car with some history, but when that car is a 1967 Cadillac Coupe de Ville that was a favorite of the King himself, Elvis Presley, then we are talking about one serious piece of motor memorabilia.

The car, which is known as the "Honeymoon Cadillac" was purchased by Presley in September 1967 and the singer was often seen cruising around in it with his new bride Priscilla. Before the sale, the car was on display at Elvis Presley museums in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Niagara Falls, Canada.

The car was purchased for $88,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas last month. The three-day event was a huge success, with some $33.3 million in sales. The most expensive car sold was a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador, which went for $440,000. Local and national charities benefited to the tune of over $1.6 million from the sale of five cars.
