Whether you’re toughing out interval sessions on the treadmill or hitting the weights extra hard in honor of a New Year’s resolution you’re not going to let die, we’re guessing you could use some help in making mid-winter workouts feel less…blah. Enter our most recent round-up of workout songs, a playlist that gets celebrity trainer Brett Hoebel ready to tackle whatever fitness feats are on tap for the day. Hoebel was a trainer season 11 of The Biggest Loser a few years back, and is now a judge on Fit or Flop, an online series that works like American Idol for the world of fitness coaching. Now in its second season, the show invites trainers and group fitness instructors to compete for $150,000 based on the originality and marketability of their sometimes inspiring, sometimes flat-out silly fitness programs.

Give these songs a listen the next time your gym session could use some extra energy. The best part: most are throwback tracks that are probably already sitting in your iTunes archive.
