Today in re-entering the danger zone, and everything else you need to know.

Negative, Ghost Rider, the Pattern is Full: Jerry Bruckheimer dropped a big hint on Wednesday that he's open to a Top Gun sequel, which would pretty cool, at least as far as movie sequels are concerned. Look: If Tom Cruise climbing onto planes in midair at age 53 (see: Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation), there's no reason he can't pull off a 4g inverted dive with a MiG28 AGAIN. On to the Finals: Novak Djokovic proved once again why he's the top player in men's tennis right now, soundly defeating Roger Federer 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 on Wednesday to ascend to the men's final at the Australian Open. [New York Times]

For High-Definition Selfies: The upcoming iPhone 7 is rumored to pack two rear-facing cameras (so, on the metal side, not the screen side)—one for wide-angle lenses, and another equipped with optical zoom. [CNET]

Concussion: The late Tyler Sash, a former safety who won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2012, was suffering from stage 2 chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain disease linked to concussions, when he died of an accidental drug overdose in September. Sash's brain was analyzed by Dr. Ann McKee, a Boston University neuropathologist and expert in concussion-related brain damage. [New York Times]
