Introducing our December Cover Star: Michael B. Jordan—star of Fruitvale Station, The Wire, and Friday Night Lights, and the upcoming Creed—is the latest fit guy to grace the cover of our magazine. Check out the behind-the-scenes video of his cover shoot.

A Legend Passes: Jonah Lomu, the legendary rugby player who was an absolute force of nature for New Zealand's fearsome All Blacks, died suddenly at age 40, his former team doctor and team executives said. Lomu suffered from a rare and debilitating kidney disease that forced him to receive dialysis treatment. [The Guardian]
Baller Status: As the Brooklyn Nets were warming up Tuesday night, R. Kelly stepped on the court and drained a 3-pointer while wearing a turtleneck and holding a cigar in his mouth. R. Kelly then sang the national anthem, which is probably the only thing that can one-up R. Kelly.

Dunk Problems: Kentucky's Alex Poythress jumped so high to make a basket against Duke Tuesday night that he got his tooth stuck in the net. Again: His tooth literally got snagged in the basket netting. [Sporting News]
