Winter is almost here. And it’s about to get crazy on Game of Thrones.

Following the longest break between seasons that fans have had to endure since the series began (blame the snow), Season 7 of Thrones is shaping up to be the biggest, wildest, most intense yet.

With the major storylines of the show (finally) converging, it appears that all-out war is on the horizon in the Seven Kingdoms. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is rallying the North to fight against the White Walkers, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is consolidating her power in King’s Landing, and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is crossing the Narrow Sea on her way to retake what she thinks is her birthright: The Iron Throne.

The first episode of the series is titled “Dragonstone.” The lightly written description goes: “In the Season 7 premiere, Jon organizes the defense of the North; Cersei seeks to even the odds; and Daenerys comes home.”

While that rundown is a bit vague, the photos from the episode help fill in the blanks. (Also, don’t forget to check out the 13 reasons why Season 7 will be the most intense Thrones year yet to prepare yourself for the wars to come in Westeros, which may include New York Mets star Noah Syndergaard as a Lannister solider.)
