Ronda Rousey Stars in the Latest Carl's Jr. Ad

"It's a knockout breakfast—with a sweet side."

Typically, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's ads feature bombshell knockouts—Charlotte McKinney, for example, or Kate Upton.

The star of the latest ad follows in that beloved tradition, with one notable addition: She serves up the knockouts, too.

Yep, undefeated UFC champ and Olympic judoka Ronda Rousey has become the newest "Carl's Jr. girl." In the food chain's newest spot, "Winning Combination," Rousey takes an impressive chomp out of the new Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Breakfast Sandwich. (On this breakfast-or-whatever-meal-you-want powerhouse: eggs and American cheese, a choice of sausage, ham, or bacon, all packed between two slices of French toast and drizzled with maple syrup sauce.)

“Ronda Rousey is impressive in so many ways and we’re huge fans," Brad Haley, the chief marketing officer for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants, said in a press release. "While she’s best known for her ultimate fighting ability, she also has a sweet side, which made her the perfect choice to star in the new Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Breakfast Sandwich ad. They both pack a mean one-two punch."
