In one of the most feel-good fitness stories
of the year, 14-year-old Winter Vinecki traveled all over the world in 2013, eventually completing the Athens Classic Marathon in November to officially become the youngest person to run marathons on all seven continents. Vinecki's father died of prostate cancer in 2008, and through her inspiring athletic pursuits
, she has raised almost a million dollars for prostate cancer research ever since. Before finishing up in Athens, the races took her from Eugene, OR, to Kenya, and then Antarctica, and she also ran in Mongolia, New Zealand, and Peru over the summer months. Oh, and she ran all seven marathons with her mom, so it was a first for that, too—no matter how manly you are, that's still adorable.
