You’ve never seen Jim Parsons like this.
Best known for his role on the hit series The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon Cooper, America's snarky, nerdy, Bazinga!-shouting theoretical physicist, you might not expect Parsons to be someone who hits the gym—but the actor's a true workout fiend with admirable dedication to keeping himself in shape.
After crushing these 1-arm sled rows with 400 pounds, I'm trying to convince @therealjimparsons to wear a sleeveless tuxedo to the Oscars tonight He makes it look easy, but make no mistake, this is very, very impressive. Let's hope that Hidden Figures wins "Best Picture" tonight! @donsaladino, next time you're in LA we should all train together and see if we can beat him
That wasn’t the first time that Parsons blew up social media with one of his workouts.
The Hidden Figures actor pushed some major weight last December:
And here's Parsons doing sled rows on a 425-pound sled:
Well it's official, @therealjimparsons (aka Sheldon) is a beast on the sled. Here he's crushing sled rows with 425 pounds and making it look easy. @donsaladino, he's a machine! As a point of reference, this is more weight than a lot of professional athletes I've trained, and we actually trained together during this workout and he moved the sled much more explosively than I did. He also demonstrates a great squat pattern for someone of his height. Very, very impressive stuff Jim!
Sure, the Emmy winner may not look like your typical gym rat—but that doesn’t mean Parsons can’t add some major size to his physique.
