Marvel's most absurdly lovable team of ragtag superheroes is back and ready to, uh, guard the galaxy—if they can just quit insulting each other first.

Roughly two years since Guardians of the Galaxy charmed its way to a $773 million box office take in 2014, Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel) have returned with all their bizarrely lovable antics for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

As for our mysterious antennaed lady at the end of the trailer who—much to Drax's enjoyment—can read people's feelings? That's Mantis (played by French actress Pom Klementieff), the telepathic martial arts grandmaster debuted in the Guardians comics before showing up in the concept art for Vol. 2. (No sign yet of Jumanji star Karen Gillan, who plays the robotic Nebula, but we'll keep our eyes peeled.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, directed by James Gunn and starring Pratt, Saldana, Bautista, Cooper, Diesel, Klementieff, Gillan, and Michael Rooker, hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
