FX’s award-winning Fargo is back for its third season, dontcha know, and as the genius behind the dark drama, Noah Hawley, tells us, this go-round takes on “the perils of sibling rivalry and the danger of modern capitalism.”

An unrecognizable Ewan McGregor plays two Stussy brothers: Emmit, Minnesota’s parking-lot king, and Ray, a parole officer. Their problem: Emmit tricked Ray over the value of their father’s inheritance. “Ray’s pissed off about getting swindled,” Hawley explains, “and decides to do something.”

Fargo’s a success, he adds, because “it’s an experiment in doing something TV doesn’t normally do: staying open to the idea that the way you tell a story is just as important as the story you tell.”
