Using your iPhone’s accelerometer, Sleep Cycle follows your movements in bed to track your sleeping patterns. Based on these movements, the app wakes you up with soothing music (you can choose your own) when you’re in the lightest stage of sleep, allowing a natural and easy transition to wakefulness. You’ll also get detailed stats noting when you were awake, or in deep or light sleep. You can also add notes about your day—whether you had coffee, worked out, or were stressed—to better understand how your sleep is impacted by different daily activities.
