The Fix: Don’t de-friend your ex—that could make her seem more mysterious and attractive to you, the study reported. Block her status updates from your feed as a start, and the next time you’re tempted to spiral into a 'Book black hole, walk away from the computer or smartphone and do something to boost your mood, like hanging out with friends or working out.
