2011 Run Amuck Event

Looking for a challenge this summer? Wanting to get back to your primal roots? The Run Amuck competition—held in Quantico, VA—might be the answer. Part of the Marine Corps Marathon Event Series, Run Amuck is a 3.5-mile timed event that features a race course full of mud pits and obstacles, including: a tire dash, hay bale maze, A-frame climb, barricade hurdles, barbed wire crawl, 20-foot pipe slither, and a cargo net climb.

What: 2011 Run Amuck mud and obstacle course event
When: June 11, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. EST (the Junior competition begins at 9 a.m.)
Where: Marine Corps Base, Quantico , VA
Fees: Run Amuck $35 plus processing fee, Kids Run Amuck $5 plus processing fee
