The 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games: Rich Froning Wins Again

The two-time champ defends his title; comes from behind to clinch his third straight Games competition.

Things didn't look promising for the two-time defending champ, Rich Froning after starting his competition with a dismal 30th place finish in the pool event. He pressed along with several top 10 finishes, but appeared to be out-paced by the 27-year-old Jason Khalipa with a streak of three 1st place finishes.

Fierce competition wasn't far behind that included Josh Bridges, Garett Fisher, Ben Smith and Marcus Hendren all bouncing around the top 5. Froning managed to step up his game up late-Saturday and into Sunday with more dominating 2nd, 3rd and 1st place finishes. And after clawing his way back to the top, Froning sealed the deal with three straight 1st place finishes on Sunday afternoon.

Here's what the three-time 'Fittest Man on Earth' had to say at year's post-games press conference.
