The NBA released its new Christmas Day commercial on Tuesday, and there’s one thing that stood out right away: It’s better than last year’s ad.
And that says a lot considering last year’s “Big Color” ad saw more than 8 million views on YouTube. The 2013 spot, coined “Jingle Hoops,” features Los Angles Lakers guard Steve Nash, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, the Houston Rockets’ James Harden, the Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry, and the Miami Heat’s LeBron James.
The NBA and Adidas also revealed the new special Christmas Day uniforms with oversize team logos for all 10 teams that will face off for a full slate of games on Dec. 25.
Check out both videos, including one behind-the-scenes look at the making of the "Jingle Hoops" ad. Which holiday promo do you think is better?
