Sometimes a Segway, a sneeze or a Scrabble tile can do serious damage.
No one likes spiders. Especially not Glenallen Hill, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder at the time of the incident in 1990. Hill, who suffers from arachnophobia, was having a rather nasty nightmare about Shelob-sized spiders chasing him and sleepwalked right into a glass table, cutting his foot, and falling down a few stairs. Opposing fans nicknamed him “Spiderman” thereafter, and not in a complimentary way.
