Here's why you should book a trip to Cambodia

The youngest American to visit every country in the world dishes out travel tips for avoiding the crowds and finding paradise.

Cambodia, located in the southern portion of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia, is a destination that's really increased in popularity over the past decade—yet it's still dirt cheap. The shiney new airport, located in Siem Reap, is the perfect entry point to visit the amazing archaeological site of Angkor Wat. It's truly one of the world's greatest wonders, and it will leave you baffled.

Though the heat can be intense, the sunrise shots are priceless! It's a short distance from the lovely capital Phnom Penh, where culture seamlessly mixes with history. A trip to the country wouldn't be complete without a visit to the chilling site of the Killing Fields before heading to the coast, an area that's become the crown to Cambodia's tourist surge. Sihanoukville and Koh Rong Island are gorgeous beaches, ideal for relaxing and getting away from the crowds.

Cambodia is a jewel of a place.
