MF City: Miami

Despite once being named the Fattest City in America, Miami can be a fit guy's paradise.

WORKING OUT

Outdoors

South Beach Ocean Drive and 5th Street to Collins Avenue and 21st Street SoBe has gained an illustrious international reputation. Bikini-clad beauties achieve tanning greatness on a stretch of sand that offers the active many diversions. Run or bike along the many seaside paths, join a game of beach volleyball, perfect your downward facing dog, toss a Frisbee, or jump on a jet ski and brave the Atlantic. When you're finished, shower up for the night (and the ladies) right off the beach.

Golf TPC Blue Monster at the Doral Resort and Spa 4400 N.W. 87th Avenue. 800-71-DORAL. www.doralresort.com/Golf Miami's weather is heaven for golfers. Host of PGA Golf events for the last 45 years, virtually every great name in golf has teed off on the Doral's greens. At 7,125 yards from the tournament tees, with strategically placed bunkers and a maze of water obstacles, it takes a champ to score on this course. From $200 rounds in summer to $325 in peak season, this pricey fairway can be the ultimate way to spend a sunny Miami morning.
