And when the sun sets, hit one of Vail’s many watering holes for good barbecue and pub grub. Vail is a pedestrian-friendly town with dozens of restaurants and bars within walking distance from the five-star Vail Four Seasons (totally worth the splurge, you can practically ski out the back door). Try the George for happy hour (3-7 p.m.) and Samana for a Euro-dance atmosphere later in the night.
