Bertone Mantide Supercar

The Italian auto-designer unveils its stylish take on the Corvette ZR1

The Stile Bertone Mantide was recently unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show to rave reviews. The one-off supercar is based on Corvette ZR1 underpinnings, including a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 producing 631 hp.

The ultra-light carbon-fiber body on this Italian stunner has increased performance quite a bit compared to the ZR1's heftier frame. In fact, the Mantide's 0-60 mph time checks in at 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph.

No numbers have been announced, but we're guessing the Mantide's price tag will make a Porsche Carrera GT look like a real bargain.
