SPIKE TV to present 2008 Video Game Awards

Take a break from the pre-holiday rush this weekend and tune into Spike for the six annual VGAs. The event, hosted by Jack Black, will bring together stars from the worlds of video games, Hollywood, music, sports and more to recognize the outstanding artistic and technical achievements in the gaming industry over the past year. The celebration will also premiere first-looks at the hottest games of 2009 and beyond.

The event begins Sunday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. EST on Spike. There will also be live music performances by LL Cool J and 50 Cent.
