Fast Forward

I love an unmade bed. And empty beer bottles here and there remind me of a good time, not the need to tidy up. My busted-up jeans and boots are my best friends -- and wearing them, I swear, makes my guitar sound better.
Fortunately, I'm lucky enough to work in an industry that encourages my individual style, so that, if the mood struck, I could roll up to a taping of one of those VH-1 segments I do so often, a press party, or a red-carpet event looking totally casual and even a bit disheveled. Hell, if I wanted to -- and because my boss is cool -- I could even step into his boardroom that way. But I don't.
We all know that there is a time and a place to be Keith Richards. A time for morning shots and strip clubs on a weekend out. And while I appreciate what it takes to look right when your "moment" comes -- when success strikes and the man calls you up for your chance -- I can't help but think back to those early years: the 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. days and how I lived to throw off the work uniform at quitting time. So with nostalgia in my heart, and a few more bucks in my pocket, I want you to join me in celebrating what a guy wears after he clocks out. Behold the world of options that will distinguish you and your crew. It's no surprise that guys like director, actor, and writer Ed Burns, as well as designers like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and the ever -- cool John Varvatos, still show us how to look good and live big, long after we've punched out.
Think vintage Triumph, the open road, and an unforgettable journey.
Gentlemen, start your engines.
