CapriSun Sport On the Go fitness drink mix
per 16.9 oz: 50 calories, 0 g protein, 12 g carbs
What our tasters thought: "A cross between Gatorade and Kool-Aid. This stuff is too sweet—more like cough syrup than a drink."
What our expert said: "Nutritionally, it's pretty similar to other sports drinks. You might as well buy the real, already prepared stuff if there's a flavor out there you already prefer."

Propel fit powder water beverage mix
per 16.9 oz: 20 calories, 0 g protein, 6 g carbs
What our tasters thought: "Great flavor." Some tasters found it a tad potent, so you may want to mix in more water to dilute the mix.
What our expert said: "This will not replace any lost nutrients or help you recover after exercise. As a drink alone, it's a good choice."

Crystal Light On the Go packets
per 16.9 oz: 10 calories, 0 g protein, 0 g carbs
What our tasters thought: "Sweet and refreshing. Has a tartness similar to real juice, without a weird chemical aftertaste."
What our expert said: "The product does contain caffeine, which some people will appreciate. While it's not a source of any significant nutrients, the stuff is light and refreshing."

Special K20 protein water mix
per 16.9 oz: 30 calories, 5 g protein, 6 g carbs
What our tasters thought: "All you really taste is protein powder. Not pleasant to drink at all."
What our expert said: "The mix contains a miniscule amount of protein. If you rely on a bottle in place of a meal, you'll likely end up so hungry that you still overeat."

South Beach Living On the Go drink mix
per 16.9 oz: 30 calories, 3 g protein, 6 g carbs
What our tasters thought: "It starts out good but soon leaves you feeling like someone vacuumed all the moisture off your tongue."
What our expert said: "The protein powder is impossible to mix in. After shaking, you're still going to wind up with weird lumps."
