Go into any vitamin store and the number of pre- and post-workout supplements available is overwhelming. You might go straight for the protein powder and vitamin packs, but could be missing out on a truly effective supplement: acai. Acai is grown in Brazil and has some incredible health benefits due to its rich nutritional profile—it's high in antioxidants and essential fatty acids. It's been praised for its skin and overall health benefits, but here's why you should consider it as a post-workout supplement.
