This leaner meat (well, if you choose the right variety) is an excellent source of the mineral selenium, which helps make important disease-fighting antioxidants.
Shop for it: Not all ground turkey is created equal—some is made in part from dark meat, which can make it higher in fat than you’re expecting. Look for a package that is labeled “lean.”
Blend it: Add dijon mustard to help bind the patties and give that turkey some zest. (Use ¼ cup per pound and a half of lean ground turkey meat.)
Cook it: Brush turkey patties with olive oil to prevent them from sticking to the grill.
