They contain a compound called indole-3-carbinol, which reduces estrogen and spikes libido in men. A bonus: “Current research is showing promise in the area of prevention and lowering cancer risk with increased consumption of cruciferous vegetables and therefore Indole-3-carbinol,” says Adiana Castro, R.D.
