5-Minute Kitchen: Make the Best Fish Tacos

Cooking fish can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. In this episode of 5-Minute Kitchen, we asked Spencer Rubin, founder of NYC’s Melt Shop, to show us how to prepare his favorite fish taco recipe.

White, flaky fish—like halibut, tilapia, or cod—can be an extremely lean and somewhat affordable source of heart-healthy protein. The only thing is, grilling it or broiling it, and then serving it up with a side of vegetables, can get real old…real fast.

That’s why we asked Spencer Rubin, founder of NYC’s Melt Shop, to show us his way around a piece of fresh cod. And his answer to our request was this recipe for Deal Closing Fish Tacos, which—when served up with a little spicy salsa and a strong margarita—make the perfect third-date meal.
