The NBA season is almost here, and the new jerseys are looking absolutely awesome.

The NBA and Nike have partnered to release a new look for NBA players and fans.

The Nike NBA jerseys officially are on sale as of Friday, September 29 at NBAStore.com and feature some exciting new upgrades that will give fans access to a ton of cool stuff.

All of the adult-sized jerseys being sold at retail have NikeConnect technology in them that gives fans real-time team and player content, including the always-fun pregame arrival footage, highlight packages of amazing dunks and plays, as well as top players’ favorite music playlists—and it all comes on the jersey owner’s mobile device.

To unlock it all, fans will download the NikeConnect app and tap the jersey with their smartphone. (Check out more about it here.)

Earlier in September, in an event in Los Angeles, each NBA team sent one player to reveal the new-look alternate uniforms.

Some of the jerseys look exactly the same as in previous years, while others may make you grab your wallet with anxiety for the release date.

Heading into this season, all teams will be sporting Nike-logo uniforms, except for the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets will have the "Jumpman" logo on their jerseys, of course, because their owner happens to be a guy by the name of Michael Jordan.

Yes, a handful of the teams decided not to change their design. But the ones that did switch it up helped Nike make a statement with these new uniforms.
