To be fair, it probably is very hard to dunk over Shaquille O'Neal.
But it's probably a little bit easier if you're his son. And this video, which has amassed over 220,00 views since Shareef O'Neal posted it to his Instagram on Tuesday, proves it.
If this video is a sign of things to come, we could see Shareef posterizing dudes in the NBA in no time. He makes leaping over his 7-foot-1 dad look easy—and he hasn't even graduated high school yet.
The 6-foot-9, 190-pound power forward has already gained a reputation independent of being a superstar's son. What's more, his dad's former partner in basketball greatness, Kobe Bryant, has extended an offer to Shareef to help him train for the rigors of college basketball.
The younger O'Neal had already made waves in the basketball world before the video surfaced. He has emerged from his father's shadow and has already gotten an offer from USC to play college ball. ESPN has given him a "scout grade" of 88/100 and has him as the seventh-best player in the Western region. Shareef is slated to graduate from the Windward School in Los Angeles in 2018.
