Free-agent fighters like Hector Lombard have entered the UFC ring and are earning lots of money--more, in fact, than their reputable, long-term contract counterparts. Women, like Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche, have shaken up the scene and are leading MMA away from its identity as strictly a "man's sport." All of this--plus the dwindling of the pay-per-view market--has set up an opportunity for big change in 2013.
