The Polish fighter opener her mixed martial arts career with 12 straight victories, including a crushing knockout win over Carla Esparza at UFC 185 in March 2015 to win the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship and three more title defenses since then.
Now, she'll have to do it once more at UFC 205 in New York City—and this time, she'll have against her countrywoman, Karolina Kowalkiewicz .

Jędrzejczyk is one of the most skilled fighters on the women’s side of the UFC, leveraging a fantastic striking speed with a combination of Muay Thai, boxing, and kickboxing to take down her opponents. Jędrzejczyk has won multiple championships in other disciplines apart from mixed martial arts, too: she holds six world titles in kickboxing and four European titles in Muay Thai.
And with Ronda Rousey hinting that she may retire soon after her upcoming title fight at UFC 207, fans of the sport are hoping that Jędrzejczyk (again: "yen-drey-chik") can take up "Rowdy's" mantle as the MMA's superstar woman.
