Tour de France Chef Tweets Out Riders' Meals

What you'd be eating after climbing 90 miles through the French Alps.

Riders in the Tour de France burn a ridiculous number of calories, 7,000 to 9,000 a day according to NPR. That means they must consume a ridiculous amount of food before, during, and after each of the 21 stages covering 2,200 miles.

Team Garmin’s personal chef Sean Fowler has been tweeting out some of the dishes prepared for his riders, and by the looks of it, they aren’t just plowing through a ton of calories, they’re enjoying some culinary creations that uphold the region’s fine-dining reputation.
