Tar Heels to retire junior forward's jersey

University of North Carolina junior forward Tyler Hansbrough will have his No. 50 retired, according to the university's athletic department. Hansbrough, who led the Tar Heels to a regular season ACC championship with 23.1 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season, will become only the eighth UNC player to have his jersey retired.
Known for a bruising style of play and an uncanny work ethic, Hansbrough spends plenty of time in the gym building a body needed to compete with the best players in the country.
