Vaughn Gittin Jr. shows off his moves in a brand-new Mustang

Vaughn Gittin Jr. has made a name for himself in the world of drift racing as an aggressive competitor in his iconic 2005 Ford Mustang. Now, JR takes Japan by storm behind the wheel of brand-new, 500-horsepower 2010 Mustang.

The Ford Racing crew in Detroit were hard at work making sure JR's list of performance parts were in place before the trip. The new parts included a Ford Racing supercharger and intercooler, an Exedy clutch, a Ford Racing FR3 suspension pack, a Ford Racing brake kit, HRE wheels, a K&N air filter, Bosch Performance spark plugs, and Falken Tires.

JR's trip to the Land of the Rising Sun kicked off with a visit to Osaka to hang with the locals -- and to show off his new ride. Then he was off to the Bihoku Highland Circuit and his first-ever Japanese style grassroots drift day.
