While most of us use our phone, computer, or cable box to tell time these days, there’s still nothing like a great watch to compliment your outfit. Sport, linked, or even a professional-looking leather strap, there are so many options to choose from and they all do something different. But no matter the type, a quality timepiece can cost you – sometimes upward of a couple grand.
So you could imagine how happy we were when we heard about Bulova’s new affordable watch line, Caravelle New York. Hitting shelves this month, it combines the well-known brand’s quality and craftsmanship with wallet-friendly price tags.
“The Caravelle New York line answers a clear marketplace demand for dynamically styled, affordably priced watches,” says Gregory Thumm, Bulova's president. “The initial reception from retailers has been quite remarkable, a true testament to the collection’s design and composition.”
As if this wasn’t already enough great news, the designs themselves were inspired by fashion bloggers and street style, so you won’t have to worry about your grandpa snatching up the same watch.
So, how much will a Caravelle New York timepiece actually cost you? Prices range from just $60 to $135, which is basically the equivalent of the money you’d save by staying in on Friday night or packing a bagged lunch for a week straight. We think it’s a pretty decent trade.
