I got a shaving brush…i don’t really know why. But now I have it. How do I use this thing?

There are a few reasons why fellas have been using shaving brushes since the 1700s. See, the bristles reach under the beard and tenderize the skin below your facial hair before you shave. Using a brush also raises hairs so they’re easily sliced once you start shaving. And applying shaving cream with a brush creates a very slick and evenly distributed lather that saves you from nicking yourself. When the time comes, wet the bristles with warm water and place a spot of shaving cream in the center of the brush. Then use a circular motion to spread the lather on your face. Add a little hot water to increase the lather. Oh, and don’t blow off taking care of the brush when you’re done using it: Rinse it off good with warm water, wring it out, and let it dry off.
