Eight ways to get unconventional results using conventional equipment

Men's Fitness training director Sean Hyson, CSCS, demonstrates eight ways to get unconventional results using conventional equipment—like the trap bar and barbell—in different ways. Check out the complete Body Shocker Workout here. Then watch the video to see how you can use:

— A trap bar for deadlifts, bentover rows, and shrugs.

— An incline bench for chest-supported rows to minimize lower-back pain.

— A barbell as a lever, using a landmine clamp. (Don't have a landmine? No worries—just wedge the barbell into the corner of your gym, and you can still perform the exercises outlined here.)
