That doesn’t mean you have to abandon your training regimen: As workout expert Rob Murgatroyd shows us, you can still manage to fit in fitness in this gorgeous seaside isle. All you need is a patch of sand—and 5 ultra-effective moves.

But we can’t stress enough just how important maintaining your hard-earned fitness foundation really is. You put all that time in at the gym, so why let it go?
As fitness expert Rob Murgatroyd proves in his exclusive Mykonos Anywhere Workout video for Men’s Fitness, you don’t have to put fitness on hold when you’re on an exotic trip. But, you don’t have to spend hours in the hotel gym either. (After all, you are on vacation.) Murgatroyd found a patch of open ground and showed us these five simple, strength-building moves.

You definitely don’t have to be in Greece to benefit from the Mykonos Anywhere Workout. Using just your body weight as resistance, you can do them literally anytime, anywhere. Yes, airport lounges—though less exotic than the Mediterranean Sea—count too. No gym or equipment needed.
Mix up the five moves for a high intensity, full body workout, tailoring sets as time allows. Or, in less than eight minutes, you can run through the workout top-to-bottom, getting your blood flowing and putting in that crucial fitness maintenance. Either way, you’ll still have plenty of time to hit tropical beach bars with your buddies—and you won’t be sucking wind when you get home.
1. Pendulum Lunges

2. Decline Pushups

3. Plank Side-to-Side
