No Pain, No Monetary Gain

At this Boston gym, if you don't play, you pay.

Looking for some motivation to keep you going to the gym? The Boston-based company Gym-Pact may have figured out the ultimate way to ensure you don't miss a workout.

The idea is simple. When you join Gym-Pact, you select a set amount of days per week that you plan to hit the gym. The company then supplies you with deals at local fitness centers and yoga studios that you can visit at discounted prices. If you stick to your schedule, you're rewarded with gift certificates, fitness gear and more. But if you miss your workout, you have to pay Gym-Pact a set "motivational fee" that you predetermine when you first sign up. So if you're feeling lazy, you get a big gut and a thin wallet.

Would you sign up for a gym that charged you a "motivational fee" if you missed a workout? Vote now!
