Step-by-step instructions

1. Sit on a bench with arms resting at your sides, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
2. Curl the weights to shoulder height without allowing your elbows to drift in front of your shoulders.
3. Extend your arms upward and press the weights directly above your head. Return to the starting position. That's one rep.
