Under Armour Debuts Actual Armor

I didn't know what to do with this when it crossed my email inbox, and honestly, I still don't know what to do with it. Under Armour will release a new, two-piece full body suit this summer that they believe will help athletes recover from the wear and tear of their workouts, according to a story in the Baltimore Sun. The basic premise is that the tight-fitting suit will help remove water from the muscles while holding them in place. The piece compares the suit to how a cast holds a limb in place to allow the bone to heal. Same premise, only here with muscles. You just have to wear it for 24 hours after you finish your training.

The full-sleeved compression top goes for $89.99, and the pant-length bottom is $99.99.
