Step-by-step instructions

1. Take three low hurdles—or books, cups, bricks or similar objects—and lay each 2 to 3 feet apart from the others. Begin by straddling the first obstacle. Run laterally over the obstacles, never crossing feet. Rapidly reverse direction. Only your outside foot should go beyond the outside obstacle. Go back and forth for 30 seconds.
