Take a break from the typical adventure race and get even dirtier with some of America's coolest mud-soaked obstacle courses.
If you're up for an ass kicking, try the Survivor Mud Run, which squeezes up to 10 muddy obstacles in per mile. Courses run around the length of your standard 5K—although the SoCal course does offer a 15K for those who are up for it. Afterwards you can reward your efforts with beer and live bands. Prizes are available for the top finishers—and those with the best costumes.
