The 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games: MF Editor Takes On A WOD [VIDEO]

Watch our staff editor attempt a 12-minute WOD at CrossFit Marina in Huntington Beach, California and give it a try for yourself.

Being so immersed in reporting all the action and excitement from last weekend's Reebok CrossFit Games, we had to get involved for ourselves. Online editor, Mike Simone decided to join the other journalists and bloggers for his first CrossFit WOD at CrossFit Marina in Huntington Beach, California. The training sessions were led by CrossFit coaches and competitors Blair Morrison of CrossFit Anywhere and Lauren Plumey of CrossFit Shoreline. Watch the workout, give it a try for yourself and tell us how you did.

 

Pre-Workout:

> 10-minute warm up and stretching

The WOD (Workout of the Day)

> 12-minute timer, AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)

> 7 Burpees

> 7 Bodyweight Squats

> 7 Kettlebell Swings (25lb)

> Approx. 20-yard sprint
