Q: No matter how hard I work out, I can’t seem to move the needle on the scale. What should I do? —Andrew W., San Diego, CA

A: You can lose weight with just exercising, and you can lose weight with just eating better. But doing only one of those options means you will hit a plateau. So change your eating habits. Start an organized program, and the pounds will fall.
